Doing Good Things with Great Motivation

Thank you to all who take the time to visit my website and read my blog. This project is important to me, for so many reasons, and it is a work in progress. Learning how to navigate my time and investing into this website has definitely been a challenge. Thank you for your patience and again, thank you to all who have contributed. My heart is truly thankful.

Recently I posted on my Instagram how I was “Doing good things with great motivation,” and that simple act of giving back reminded me of why I started Bela Rose. Gratitude.

I am so grateful to our teachers and staff at our schools. They have to deal with many challenges. They provide a great service and to those teachers who are still passionate about their jobs, truly can inspire. I barely have patience with my own two teens and even that is a constant trial. So I tip my hat to you my friends and your consistent and constant efforts with our youth. I recently did a Back to School event, the first in a few years, and my son was eager for me to share with him who out of his teachers, was my favorite. So I went from class to class taking my notes. Returned home and gave it to my son for review. He was surprised I took notes. Also, it really just made me look like I was a dedicated parent, but I was totally ready to cut class from the get go! So then he again eagerly asked, “well who was your favorite?” And my honest response was that it was just too dang hard to single one person out. Each teacher had their own style of communicating and I found them all engaging. Some were caring and seemed to be in tune with the array of emotions that can be experienced in class. Others were excited and really motivated to teach. Some were disciplined but yet funny. One even made a math pun that wasn’t that good but I still found it so funny! “I enjoyed them all,” I said. And he agreed. He actually feels so lucky to have great teachers, and that my friends is priceless. To genuinely feel that people care, whether it be about you or their job, priceless, and it matters. So again, GRATEFUL for our teachers and staff. Your presence and who you are, have lasting effects on our youth. You are a teacher of much more than academics. You teach kindness, empathy, patience and respect. And our youth are absorbing that up. Cheers to you and all you who make a difference!

With Gratitude,

Bela
