Wings of Love
There are people who come into our lives unexpectedly, never knowing the impact they’ll have. As I reflect on those around me, I see blessings in each and every one of them—nameless heroes. They were never meant to be permanent, yet their actions leave footprints on my soul. I carry a bit of them everywhere I go.
I could never name them all—there are simply too many. Their presence has taught me about compassion, about resilience, about choosing grace when it would be easier to choose anger or silence. And today, and every day, I hold that close. I am thankful—for their valor and generosity, for their willingness to rise, to stand, to show up. “God puts people in your path for a reason.” I’ve read and heard that many times. But when you really sit back and remember those moments, it blows the mind. And it explodes the heart.
Gratitude. That’s the word. I am grateful—for their integrity, morality, and courage. In a world full of hate, doubt, and fear, I choose to be light. And I can do that because of the wings of others. Because of them, I can teach my children, live with humility, and share what was once shared with me. All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.
To all of them—thank you. For your inspiration. For your humanity. I pray that all that is good finds you, because you deserve that and so much more.
